Sunset - A Comic by Madelyn

A series of comic strip style panels:

1. A pair of stick-figures look out a portal through which a setting sun can be seen as darkness encloses around them. They nod together, determinedly.
2. The pair leap from the darkness into the portal.
3. A blinding white light.
4. The stick figures face plant on solid ground behind a dune where a solitary flower grows.
5. They hoist themselves up and look forward.
6. In silhouette the dash up the dune.
7. They take each other's hand.
8. The sit atop the dune, hand-in-hand, and watch the sun sun on the distant horizon.
